"Music that moves the soul"
New Criterion

Wes York's work has been performed throughout the U.S. at events such as the Museum of Modern Art Cineprobe Series and Bang on a Can Festival in New York City, the North American New Music Festival, Monadnock Music Festival, Seattle Spring Festival, as part of Present Music's concert season and the New Performance Group's Music in Motion.

Recent projects have included the score for the feature length film Losing It, by director Sharon Greytak, and a collaboration with choreographer Brian Kloppenberg commissioned by Kloppenberg Dance with support from the Cary Trust and premiered in New York City, as well as new vocal works.

Currently, he is developing and composing a full-evening multidisciplinary work Andy Warhol Three Times, inspired by the life and work of Warhol. Watch this site for more information in the near future.

A full CD of York's work on the New World label is available at Tower Records, and at various locations on the internet.
